The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.

Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP) or ocean diverted plastic is plastic waste defined as “at risk of ending up in the ocean”. OBP is estimated to generate 80% of plastic marine litter. It includes: a small fraction of commercially recyclable plastic waste. a lot of non-commercially recyclable plastic waste.

Buying FSC–certified paper and lumber means the forests that supply the wood are managed in a sustainable way – protected from deforestation and excessive clearcutting. Other FSC products, like Ram Board, can be used from recycled materials so no new trees are cut down to produce them.
